By accessing or using the website at www.florenceinsulationcompany.com (the "Site") or by engaging Florence Insulation Company to provide insulation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site or our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use the Site or our services.
Florence Insulation Company is a licensed insulation contractor based in Florence, SC. We provide residential and commercial insulation services including, but not limited to, spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and insulation removal.
The information on this Site is for general informational purposes only. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service without notice.
Any estimate or quote we provide is based on information gathered during an on-site assessment. Estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
An estimate is not a guaranteed final price. The final price may change if the scope of work changes, if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project, or if material costs change significantly between the estimate and start of work. We will communicate any price changes to you before proceeding with additional work.
Phone or online estimates are not binding. Only written, signed proposals represent a binding commitment on our part.
We will make reasonable efforts to honor scheduled appointment dates and times. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other factors outside our control. We will give you as much advance notice as possible if a reschedule is necessary.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee. If a project has already started, materials costs and labor performed to date may still be owed.
Payment terms will be stated in your written project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the project. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work begins. Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you at the time of contracting.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the maximum amount permitted by South Carolina law, whichever is less.
All prices are in US dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees associated with your project.
We stand behind our work. Any warranty terms specific to your project will be stated in your written project agreement. Where manufacturer warranties apply to materials used (such as spray foam products), those warranties are between you and the manufacturer. We will provide you with any applicable warranty documentation upon completion of the project.
The Site and information on it are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
We do not warranty results against pre-existing structural defects, moisture intrusion caused by roof leaks or plumbing failures, or damage caused by events outside our control such as floods, storms, or acts of nature after our work is complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Florence Insulation Companyshall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when requesting an estimate or booking services. You are also responsible for ensuring that our crew has safe and lawful access to the work area on the scheduled date.
If you request that work be done in a way that we have advised against in writing, we are not responsible for problems that result from following those instructions.

Before pursuing any formal dispute, we ask that you contact us directly so we can try to resolve the issue:
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation in good faith before initiating any legal proceedings. Any legal action arising from these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the courts of South Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising from your use of our website or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
