Florence is the largest city in the Pee Dee region of northeastern South Carolina, with a population of roughly 38,000 inside city limits and about 140,000 people in Florence County. The city sits at the crossroads of I-95 and I-20, making it a regional center for the surrounding rural counties. Florence is home to McLeod Health, one of the largest hospital systems in South Carolina, and Francis Marion University, both of which are major employers and well-known landmarks in the area.
The city has several established neighborhoods with mature trees and wide lots, including Vintage Place, Brierfield, and the Timrod Park area, where many homes date back to the early 1900s. Newer subdivisions on the outskirts of the city - particularly along Hoffmeyer Road, Ebenezer Road, and the South Florence corridor - feature vinyl-sided, single-family houses built in the 1990s through 2010s. We serve homeowners in all of these areas, as well as nearby communities like Sumter and Conway.
